Martin has over 25 years of marketing and business development experience in the commercial and business aviation industries. Because let’s face it, airplanes are fun.
Martin started his career at Emhart Glass, headquartered in Cham, Switzerland, as a Marketing Communications Specialist in copy writing, graphic design and corporate identity and brand management.
After design agency experience working with companies such as Ingersoll-Rand and Corning Inc., he joined aircraft cabin systems supplier Pacific Systems in Kirkland, WA as Manager of Marketing. With the acquisition of Pacific Systems by leading in-flight entertainment supplier Airshow Inc. (now part of Rockwell Collins), Martin directed marketing for the combined companies.
As a Business Development and Marketing executive for several aviation companies, Martin led organizations through major rebrands, launched new aircraft safety products and services, and created strategic partnerships and agreements with airframe OEM's like Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault, and Bombardier. Many of the products he helped develop and launched are flying on thousands of aircraft including major airlines such as Qatar, Emirates, Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Airlines.
Martin has consulted for aviation and avionics companies such as Jet Fleet International, Rogerson-Kratos, DPI Labs, Zodiac Aerospace, TrueNorth Avionics, and Global Aviation just to name a few.
Martin speaks and presents at aviation safety events including safety stand downs, the Flight Safety Foundation Business Aviation Safety Summits, European Business Aviation Association, European Business Aviation Safety Conference, and the IATA Cabin Operations Safety Conferences.
